The Streets of India

Palolem - where the seashore was our street, and these were our neighbours.

Where the challenge of the day was getting to our waffles

or making it for sunset.

Victory.

Getting lost in the alleys and romance of Udaipur

 remembering to look up.

Being enchanted by the maze that is Jaisalmer, our personal fort.

Getting lost in the rabbit hole

and discovering an old world.

Finding some shade in the heat of the day, if it's not already taken...

Being intoxicated by the smell of spices

amongst other things.

Going from the Hectic Bazars of Delhi

to a change of pace in Rishikesh.

And then there were the streets of Darjeeling...

Where walking in the rain never felt so good

and simplicity looks glamorous.

The ruins of Hampi had their own charm

though it was so damn hot we gave up on walking

and hired some wheels instead.

Even the locals were struggling.

Then there were the streets, that were not streets at all.
